What a pretty thing to have on your dresser or in your purse! Hand-painted 800 silver compact with gilt finish and incised scroll design all around. The top lid is decorated with a hand-painted courting couple and bordered on four corners with enameled faux lapis lazuli.  Marked 800 on inside bottom and measures about 0.5" x 3.5" x 2.75".  Signs of wear commensurate with age.
